Open Day March 2016 Coming!

WROXHAM AND DISTRICT U3A OPEN DAY

On March 12th Wroxham and District U3A held an Open Day.

The group is 4 years old and has 65 members. Aided by extensive advertising, not least a few minutes on local radio, a steady stream of members of the public came to see the displays, and enjoy free drinks and soup between 10 am and 2 pm.

About 10 groups put on displays of their activities, and a member of the photographic group offered to take portraits of members and visitors for £1 with a chosen photographic background.

The occasion also gave members a chance to see what other groups were doing, and to get to know each other better.
The day was considered a great success, not least the addition of 18 new members!
