U3A Wroxham Walking Group

On the 5th December a small group of 6 met at Horsford Mill.  Although the sun was shining, the day had started at below zero, and was struggling to reach 5˚. Equipped with warm clothing, sturdy footwear and wide smiles, the group set out for Coltishall village, turning left into Chapel Lane and onwards through the picturesque hamlet of St James.  Up the steps onto the Bure Valley railway, along the path and down at the pond near Hautbois.  Turning right under the railway bridge, we meandered along the footpaths adjoining the fields, eventually returning to Coltishall  The walk ended with a necessary visit to A Piece of Cake.
